LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- As the star of "30 Rock" and former Weekend Update anchor and ex-head writer of "Saturday Night Live," Tina Fey has seen a lot -- but she told Access Hollywood's Billy Bush that the recent buzz over her "SNL" portrayal of vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin tops it all.
"The Sarah Palin thing is by far the weirdest thing that's ever happened to me, and I've been around some weird things," Tina told Billy. "You couldn't have predicted. Like, who would have predicted that this lady that I kind of look like would be running for vice-president."

CHICAGO, Ill. -- Oprah Winfrey has been an outspoken proponent of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, but her support won't be rewarded -- at least not financially.
According to Vanity Fair, the Illinois senator's tax policies -- aimed at benefiting the middle class -- would cost the media queen $25 million a year more than Sen. John McCain's tax plan. Under McCain, in fact, Oprah would reportedly save over $9 million.

Rowling, the author of the seven-book series about the young wizard's battles about the evil Voldemort, earned $300 million in the year between June 1, 2007 and June 1, 2008, placing her on top of Forbes magazine's list of this year's best-paid authors.
Overall, Rowling is reportedly a billionaire, with over 375 million copies of the series selling worldwide. The film adaptations have made a total of $4.5 billion at the box office, with three left to go, continuing with next summer's "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince."
