Michael Griffith, an attorney for the Blonskys told Access Hollywood Nikki's version of the events of the airport brawl of July 30, that included Carl Blonsky's, daughter Nikki, "America's Next Top Model" contestant Bianca Golden, and Bianca's mother, Elaine Golden.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- The father of "Hairspray" star Nikki Blonsky will remain behind bars until Aug. 19 in a Turks and Caicos jail, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

Carl Blonsky has been in police custody in Turks and Caicos since a July 29 airport brawl that included his daughter Nikki, "America's Next Top Model" contestant Bianca Golden, and Bianca's mother, Elaine.

Carl Blonsky, along with his wife, appeared in court Friday, where the judge ruled he must remain in jail until his trial, which is set for August 19. However, he could appeal a to higher court to be let out on bail, according to police.
