Nancy O'Dell Honored For Her Work For ALS & Betty's Battle

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Nancy O'Dell is a busy woman.
She's the co-host of Access Hollywood, a published author and a devoted mom to her toddler, Ashby, and her two stepsons Tyler and Carson, but she also carves out dozens of hours each month to a number of charities, including the ALS division of the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Nancy recently launched the Betty's Battle foundation with the MDA, a foundation in honor of her beloved mother Betty, who passed away from ALS in June 2008. With the launch of Betty's Battle, Nancy has been working to educate people on ALS -- also known as Lou Gehrig's disease -- and to raise funds for support services and research to help find treatments and hopefully, a cure for those with ALS.

Former 'Idols' Sound Off On The Judges New Veto Power

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- When Michael Johns was eliminated from last season's "American Idol" during week five there was a collective gasp of shock. An early favorite (especially among female fans) John's rendition of "Dream On" by Aerosmith, while not his best performance, certainly didn't deserve to get him the Idol boot. Johns is just the type of person this new judges' "save" is hoping to help.
So, you would think that Johns would find this new rule to be a fantastic addition. In fact, he finds it just the opposite.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Michael Johns is gearing up to release his first post-"American Idol" album in March 2009, but this holiday season, he's lending his musical talents to charity.
Michael will release "Another Christmas," an original song he penned, via iTunes December 9, with 50 percent of the proceeds benefiting the Red Cross, and the other half - thanks to his friendship with Access Hollywood's Nancy O'Dell - to help out the fight against Lou Gehrig's Disease, also known as ALS.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Spencer Pratt may be reality TV's most popular punch line, but when it comes to bad guys, apparently Simon Cowell has got him beat.
Cowell was voted Reality TV's Best Villain in a new poll conducted by AOL Television. The "Idol" judge garnered 39 percent of the vote, while Pratt earned just 10 percent.
But who was voted hottest female reality star, hottest male star - and the skankiest of them all?
