Ryan Reynolds Inspired To Run NYC Marathon After Meeting Michael J. Fox

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Ryan Reynolds has penned a letter on The Huffington Post, where he admits, "I am not a runner. I am a running joke."

Ryan recalled the first time he witnessed a marathon, writing, "I saw guys coming in to finish with bleeding nipples. Why in the hell were their nipples bleeding? People were crying. People were limping, hobbling, screaming, crawling."

But, a meeting with Michael J. Fox inspired the "Definitely, Maybe" star to brave the grueling 26 miles.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Michael J. Fox is in talks to join the cast of "Rescue Me" for the upcoming fifth season, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Fox would join the hit FX show for several episodes as a love interest of Janet (played by Andrea Roth), who is the ex of Denis Leary's character.
