LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Neil Patrick Harris will host the 2009 Emmy Awards, multiple sources have confirmed to Access Hollywood.
Variety and The Hollywood Reporter were the first outlets to report that the "How I Met Your Mother" star, who recently hosted the 2009 Tony Awards, was negotiating to MC the ceremony.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Mary-Kate Olsen may still be a Hollywood mainstay with recent roles in "The Wackness," TV's "Samantha Who?" and "Weeds," but sister Ashley is focusing on fashion.
"I turned 18, I moved to New York, and I haven't really done anything since to be a celebrity," Ashley told the summer issue of VMAN Magazine, on newsstands now.
