LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Did you hear the one about the shallow, jaded, lonely celebrity who's forced to re-evaluate his priorities after he's diagnosed with a deadly disease?

But it's still a good movie, thanks to a charming screenplay by Jason Filardi ("Bringing Down the House"), vibrant direction from Burr Steers ("Igby Goes Down") and a star-making performance by Efron.

"I was just focused in high school... that probably made me a nerd, but I got good grades," Zac told Access Hollywood's Dish Of Salt Laura Saltman at the "17 Again" movie junket over the weekend. "I didn't really care about being the coolest kid in high school, that wasn't my priority."
