NEW YORK, NY -- Kelsey Grammer has been released from a New York area hospital, Access Hollywood has confirmed.
The actor checked into the hospital last week after "feeling faint."

However, contrary to previous reports, Grammer was admitted after "feeling faint" and he is "not being treated for an irregular heartbeat," Grammer's rep, Stan Rosenfield, told Access.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- "Swing Vote's" Kelsey Grammer has credited his wife, Camille, for helping him recover from a heart attack the actor suffered earlier this year.
"She's been amazing," Grammer said of his wife of over a decade. "She was the rock, she really was the rock."
