Jenny McCarthy Reveals Origins Of Jim Carrey's Mankini, Calls Him 'Husband'
Access Hollywood - August 4, 2008, 8:07 am PDTLOS ANGELES, Calif. -- In early July, Jim Carrey made a splash on a Malibu beach, donning what many have dubbed the "mankini." And while it was later revealed that Carrey was actually wearing his girlfriend, Jenny McCarthy's swim attire, many have wondered why - until now.
"We just wanted to have some fun with [the paparazzi]," Jenny told Access Hollywood's Nancy O'Dell. "I came out in a bathing suit and we didn't have any plan for him to come back out in it but he thought, 'God it was such a horse and pony show out there with the paparazzi, we gotta do something funny.' So he said, 'Take it off and let me put it on!'"
