James Franco Makes Debut On 'General Hospital'

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- James Franco made his debut on "General Hospital" on Friday playing a character with a name close to the actor's heart - his own.
While the full details of his character weren't made totally clear on the episode, the "Milk" star is playing Franco, a mysterious artist that appears to take some inspiration from British artist Banksy, a graffiti artist who has risen to fame in real life over the last decade.

James Franco Heading To '30 Rock,' First Photo From 'General Hospital' Stint Emerges

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- James Franco is heading to "30 Rock."
According to Entertainment Weekly columnist Michael Ausiello, the "Milk" actor will play himself in the NBC comedy series.
James is set to become involved in a "faux romance" with Jane Krakowski, who plays Jenna on the series.

But in the new issue of V Magazine, the actress said she'd be getting revealing on screen like never before in Darren Aronofsky's upcoming "Black Swan."
"It's not raunchy - it's extreme," she said of a lesbian scene reportedly with co-star Mila Kunis in the 2010 drama.

The actor will not be fulfilling his scheduled duties as keynote speaker at the university's College of Letters and Science commencement ceremony on June 12, according to UCLA reps.
