HOLLYWOOD, Calif. -- You'd think that 24-year-old actress Anna Kendrick would feel a bit of pressure, being in not one, but two, of the biggest films of the 2009 holiday season.
Rather, very unlike the hyperactive human Jessica character that she plays in "The Twilight Saga," she is cool, calm and collected about the upcoming wave of publicity that she's currently undergoing.

Johnny Depp back for new Pirates of the Caribbean movie
The Pirates of the Caribbean star previously earned the title in 2003. (He joins Brad Pitt and George Clooney in the two-timers club.)
Depp, 46, has been in a relationship since 1998 with French singer Vanessa Paradis, 37, with whom he has two kids, Lily-Rose, 10, and Jack, 7.

A Christmas Carol debuted atop the weekend box office, taking in $31 million and kicking off the holiday movie season.
Disney's animated version of the Charles Dickens classic, which features Jim Carrey as miserly Ebenezer Scrooge as well as the three ghosts who haunt him, knocked Michael Jackson's This Is It to second place, which took in $14 million. So far, the late King of Pop's concert film has taken in $57.9 domestically and $186.5 million worldwide.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Wes Anderson has explored the ocean's depths in the nautical "The Life Aquatic" and voyaged by train through India in "The Darjeeling Limited," but the director has another place still to explore - the final frontier.
"I'd like to do a movie in space," Wes told AccessHollywood.com on Friday at the Hollywood premiere of his latest film, the animated Roald Dahl adaptation "Fantastic Mr. Fox."
