On Friday, a rep for the Los Angeles Superior Court released a statement noting that the temporary guardianship hearing related to Michael Jackson's children, had been postponed by a week to July 20, following a request from Katherine Jackson and Debbie Rowe.
But now, a close friend of Rowe's, Marc Schaffel, also a former business partner for Michael Jackson, said the pop star's ex-wife and mother of his two eldest children -- Prince Michael I, 12; and Paris Michael Katherine; 11 -- will appear at the hearing.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Diana Ross, the woman Michael Jackson named in his will as the person he wants to raise his children should his own mother, Katherine, be unable to, has explained why she's not attending the star's memorial.
"I am trying to find closure, I want you to know that even though I am not there at the Staples Center. I am there in my heart. I have decided to pause and be silent," the legendary singer said in a statement to Access Hollywood on Tuesday as the memorial for the King of Pop got underway at the Staples Center.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Access Hollywood has learned that the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) is conducting an investigation into the welfare of Michael Jackson's three children, in light of the unanswered questions about his death.
