Joanna Krupa & Derek Hough Eliminated On 'Dancing'

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Despite having Derek Hough as her professional partner and a second place overall finish on Monday night, Joanna Krupa was booted from the "Dancing With the Stars" ballroom on Tuesday night.

The model was eliminated just one week shy of the Season 9 finale, but Joanna noted her time on the show was rewarding.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- After three rounds of competition - a first on "Dancing With the Stars" - celebrity competitor Mya showed she is determined to win the mirrorball.

Mya and her partner, Dmitry Chaplin, netted 87 out of 90 points for the night, after three magnificent dances that impressed the judges.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Mya stormed to the top of the leaderboard with two fancy footed performances on Monday night's "Dancing With the Stars."

The pop singer and her professional partner, Dmitry Chaplin, dominated the show, scoring 29 out of 30 for their first dance - a quick step, and a perfect score for their second number -- a '70s inspired samba.

Joanna Krupa & Derek Hough Reign On 'Dancing'

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Joanna Krupa and Derek Hough managed to hold on to their throne at the top of the leaderboard on Monday's "Dancing With the Stars."

The model and the professional dancer didn't have the highest score for a paired dance - that actually went to pop star Aaron Carter and his partner, Karina Smirnoff - but the performance by the blond dream team in the group round boosted their total score and allowed them to pass their competition in the rankings.
