LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- The red carpet is the ultimate inspiration for the latest makeup trends, but it's frustrating to achieve the same look - it's just never the same.
There is hope for the makeup-challenged. The cosmetics industry has realized that real women need a little help when it comes to makeup and they are doing something about it.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. -- Any drama at the Emmys was strictly reserved for those picking up their acting awards. It certainly wasn't about the style. The red carpet was a sea of safe choices and could have used a dose of drama.
One bright spot -- bright colors. Mariska Hargitay in marigold Carolina Herrera, and Teri Hatcher in yellow Monique Lhuillier laughingly told us that they looked like, "a couple of hot bananas." Brooke Shields was beautiful in bright fuchsia... Nicollette Sheridan went with eggplant Angel Sanchez. Tina Fey did a 180 from her dead-on Sara Palin Soccer Mom look -- all sleek in deep purple David Meister. Christina Applegate went with a softer hue in her elegant one-shouldered light blue Reem Acra.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- As Barack Obama continues his historic run for President, talk has already started on who should play the senator in the movie - and Will Smith says he might be game.
"I gotta get the rights to the story," Will told Access Hollywood on Thursday at the premiere of wife Jada Pinkett Smith's new film, "The Women." "I'll make the decision in about two months as soon as he writes the ending."
But it's Barack's wife, Michelle, that Will's really interested in, Jada revealed.
