WASHINGTON, D.C. -- David Cook's older brother died after a long battle with brain cancer on Saturday, according to the former "American Idol" winner's official Web site.
Adam Cook, a lawyer, was 36. He had struggled with the disease for 11 years.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Miley Cyrus is coming to "American Idol," Access Hollywood has learned from sources close to the show.
The 16-year-old superstar, who is gearing up for the release of "Hannah Montana The Movie," pre-taped a performance of her hit song, "The Climb," for the hit FOX reality competition on Wednesday night. The performance will air on April 15.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Reigning "American Idol" champ David Cook has canceled two shows on his headlining tour due to personal reasons, Access Hollywood has confirmed.
"We are canceling Monday and Tuesday's shows to allow David time to deal with personal family matters," a rep for the singer told Access. "Please respect his privacy at this time."
