LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Jay-Z wants to step into a new career: movie star.

"I do. I do," the rap mogul told MTV News.

But Jay-Z, who will turn 40 in December, is still working hard at his hip-hop career, with "The Blueprint 3" slated for a September 11 release. So when will he hit theaters?

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC) announced today a slate of top recording artists performing at several official events for the 2009 Presidential Inaugural celebration.

"The talent we have selected reflects the diverse musical traditions of our nations, truly making this 'America's Inaugural,'" said Emmett S. Beliveau, PIC Executive Director. "As we seek to make this the most open and accessible inaugural in history, we have selected a full slate of top recording artists that we think will provide something for everyone. This will be a celebration for everyone."
