LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Two days after her daughter told Larry King that the veteran newsman was being "inappropriate" during her appearance on "Larry King Live," mom Francine Prejean is defending Carrie.
In an interview with Access Hollywood's Billy Bush for Access Hollywood and "The Billy Bush Show," Francine said she thought Carrie's words were "great."

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Former Miss California USA Carrie Prejean appeared on CNN's "Larry King Live" last night and the interview took an awkward turn when Prejean said King's line of questioning was "inappropriate."
On Thursday, Billy Bush spoke to Donald Trump for Access Hollywood and "The Billy Bush Show," where Trump weighed in on Prejean's appearance.

During the interview, King asked Prejean why, if the issue of religious discrimination is so important to her, did she settle her suit with the pageant. LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- The ladies of "The View" heated up on Thursday morning over Carrie Prejean's controversial appearance on "Larry King Live," where the former pageant queen took off her microphone and threatened to walk off the show after he asked why she settled a lawsuit with the Miss California Organization.
"He just wanted to know, 'Why did you settle [your lawsuit]?' That would not be illegal to do that," Joy Behar said.
