Rock 'N Roll Hall Of Fame To Open In NYC

Access Hollywood - July 28, 2008, 2:38 pm PDTNEW YORK, NY -- Paul McCartney returned to Shea Stadium last week, for the first time since his now legendary performance with The Beatles more than 40 years ago. August 15, 1965 marked the first concert ever given at Shea, a frantic scene of thousands, screaming and crying behind barricades that certainly couldnt contain the deafening noise. It was and remains to this day, the most historic concert ever given.
"Shea was a blast," Paul McCartney said, talking for the first time about his return to the legendary Shea Stadium for its final farewell. "I can't tell you what it felt like to be back there onstage after all these years - and to think I nearly didn't make it."

Christie Brinkley Catches Ex Billy Joel At Shea Stadium's Last Show
Access Hollywood - July 19, 2008, 4:47 pm PDTNEW YORK, New York -- In her first public appearance since settling a very public divorce trial with ex-husband Peter Cook, Christie Brinkley went out to see another ex - piano man Billy Joel.
Joel, who was married to Brinkley from 1985-1994 and is the father of daughter Alexa Ray, headlined the final concert in New York's Shea Stadium on Friday night.
