LOS ANGELES, Calif. (July 9, 2007) - Actress Cameron Diaz turned up at Live Earth to share her stories of contributing to saving the environment. She also used the opportunity to announce, alongside former Vice President Al Gore, a viewer contest to encourage blue planet dwellers to come up with new promo spots to save the earth.

":60 Seconds To Save The Earth" is a new film contest challenging earth lovers of the United States, United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland to create a new ad campaign aimed at encouraging people to help fight climate change. Interested participants are being instructed to make a 15, 30 or 60 second spot. They can visit Current TV's Eco Spot Contest website to get music clips and video clips from the ITN network to use in their promos.

Big, corrupt corporations pay off "scientists" who manipulate GW facts. Do the full research & you'll understand global warming. GW or not, it's a FACT, for ex., that pollution causes lung & other problems. HENCE, we should be CLEANING UP & CARING for our planet ANYWAY. Why waste time debating an issue when we can do positive things to create a healthier planet now & for future generations???

hahaha Al Gore's house costs $30,000.00 per year in Utilities. That's gas, electric, and heating oil. I own a "regular American" sized house in the northeast which costs me about $2500.00 per year. Yeah he's a real Greeny alright. One other thing, ask all these "Global Warming" "I just GOTTA have a Cause" people: "If this is all 'Man Made', why is the EXACT same thing happening on Mars right now?

Why in the hell is Diaz speaking out about "global warming"? I guess the fact that she graduated high school makes her an expert on the topic. Gore and his whole clan need to get of this "global warming" kick. It's not even real. And real scientists, not politicians grabbing for votes, have proven it. Read about the Greenland deep drilling of old DNA if you need a reference.

The earth has been warming naturally for about the last 18,000 years. It will continue to warm naturally. It has been warming ever since the continental glaciation pushed Long Island and Cape Cod off the surface of New England. If humans stopped burning fossil fuel it would still continue to warm.
