Celebrities know just where to go for great food and great service. Here is a list of 10 trendy, top-rated restaurants and which A-listers have been spotted munching on their fare recently.
Is this the world's hippest restaurant chain? The most delicious Japanese food? If you want to show off your new Rolex or alligator Birkin bag while hopping out of a Lamborghini, book a table here. Two London locations in ultra-posh Mayfair are both Michelin-starred. By 10:30 p.m., the bar is packed with patrons like Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Liam Gallagher paying £15 per cocktail.
The Ledbury in Notting Hill has zoomed up the popularity stakes, earning not one but two Michelin stars. A three-course dinner is set at £80 (or about $120), and an average bottle of wine is another £80. Add the tip and you're out the door for $425 for two or $540 for the tasting menu. We assume celebrities can afford it! Jamie Oliver (who owns The Ledbury), the "Harry Potter" actor Alan Rickman, garage musician Mike Skinner, supermodel Kate Moss and singer Lily Allen have dined here.

C London was formerly called Cipriani and was modeled on the famous Harry's Bar in Venice. It's long been a glamorous celeb hotspot in London's Mayfair district, with great Italian food for A-listers, the wealthy, socialites and fashionistas. Paparazzi wait outside for the likes of model Naomi Campbell and musicians P Diddy (or just Diddy, as he's known in the U.S.), Ne-Yo, Jessie J and Lily Allen (who has been seen there with her husband, Sam Cooper).
Some say The Ivy has lost its touch, but it's still quite difficult to get a reservation unless you're Jude Law, George Clooney or Catherine Zeta-Jones. It's open late and right in Covent Garden's theater district. The stained glass windows have always kept those inside the restaurant safe from the camera flashbulbs outside. Paris Hilton, Tom Cruise, Elton John, George Michael, Kate Moss, and David and Victoria Beckham have all been spotted at The Ivy.
Since 2008, the Ivy's sister restaurant has given celebrities looking for a lunchtime getaway a less formal oyster bar next door. The restaurant was voted one of the ten most popular in England by Zagat in 2011 and is on the favorites list for actors because of its location in the West End's theater district. Keira Knightley and Rupert Friend have been spotted there together, as have Kate Moss and Sienna Miller.
Scott's is a very short walk to top hotels like Claridge's http://www.claridges.co.uk/ (where Harrison Ford and Clint Eastwood have been spotted) and The Connaught, http://www.the-connaught.co.uk/ as well as private clubs Annabel's http://www.annabels.co.uk/home and Mark's Club http://www.marksclub.co.uk/home in Berkeley Square. "Flawless shellfish at nosebleed prices," says the Zagat restaurant guide. It should come as no surprise that Jennifer Lopez, Simon Cowell, Guy Ritchie, Jim Carrey, Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy are patrons.

Stop in for a drink nearby at the Punch Bowl in Farm Street, Mayfair. It's an elegant, upscale pub where people have dined since 1750. Guy Ritchie now owns the place (he was awarded Madonna's share in their 2008 divorce). Ritchie is often there with friends, and it always seems packed. In good weather, the pub crowd spills out onto the sidewalk, and in winter, there's a cozy, roaring fire. Above the mantle, Winston Churchill's countenance keeps a fierce watch over the jolly crowd, which has included Jude Law, Leonardo di Caprio, Justin Timberlake, Chase Crawford and Matthew Morrison.
It's dark, sexy, incense-infused, in a basement, and tucked away on a side street off Oxford Street: perfect for celebrities! Hakkasan has Chic Chinese food in a 1930s-Shanghai setting, glamorous cocktails at a slinky bar, and people to match. Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie (celebrating the latter's 22nd birthday), Taylor Swift and Katy Perry have all indulged here.
Five hours' drive from London, overlooking the sea in Cornwall, is this luxury hotel with a restaurant known to A-listers. The dining terrace features uninterrupted views along the coast with a blinking lighthouse beyond. The spectacular scenery and slower pace means celebrities like Madonna, Kate Winslet and Angelina Jolie can wind down while in Cornwall.
Coastal views, the sweeping green spaces of the world's most famous golf course and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the 17th hole make the Road Hole a perfect holiday restaurant. A long way from London, St. Andrews is 60 miles from the nearest airport in Edinburgh, Scotland's capital. Spot celebrity golf fans Hugh Grant, Elizabeth Hurley and power couple Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones here.
