Why Warner Bros. Fired Charlie Sheen

Warner Bros. Television, the producer of "Two and a Half Men," has finally fired Charlie Sheen, spelling out why in an 11-page letter obtained by TMZ. The company cites violation of a clause in Sheen's contract stating that they can axe an actor who commits "felony offenses involving moral turpitude." For Sheen, said moral turpitude involves trashing the Plaza Hotel, drug binges, missed work, erratic behavior, related weight loss, lashing out at "Two and a Half Men" creator Chuck Lorre, all of which shuttered the show as the unhinged star launched his manic media meltdown.

Meanwhile, Sheen's attorney insists Warner Bros. pay Sheen for A) the eight canceled episodes that remain of this season and B) the length the series remains in production, citing a contractual "Michael J. Fox" clause; Warner Bros. argues they nullified his contract by firing him for a cause.

Sheen tried to get his job back after CBS shut down the sitcom, but even in his bizarre state, he must have realized that the damage had already been done. So he celebrated on a roof, wielding a machete and downing a bottle of "tiger blood." The mental images alone will give you nightmares.

Update: The machete does not belong to Sheen! Rather, the sword is the "prized possession" of an exec at Live Nation on whose roof Sheen brandished it. He's in talks to take his show on the road, Conan O'Brien-style. Do not want.
