They were at the 38th International Emmy Awards in New York, which means he flew from London -- where she's shooting "The X Factor" -- and she flew in from Los Angeles, where she works as a makeup artist.
When approached by the Daily Mail on Sunday, Hussainy responded, "I still love him and he says he still loves me and we are still engaged - as far as I know."
Weird answer. It looks like Cowell thought so too. His quick fix for silencing breakup rumors? A red-carpet photo op. Hussainy's face says: "He loves me!" Cowell's eyes say: "I win. MuahAHAHAHA."
