Quoting The Famous: Gisele Bundchen Is Earth’s Most Perfect Mother

Steve Granitz/WireImageGisele Bundchen, who once said giving birth was a breeze (we know), subtly asserts her perfect motherhood in an interview with Vogue U.K. (via Celebitchy):

My children, they are like white canvases. When Benjamin eats broccoli, he thinks it's dessert!

Benjamin Brady: healthier than the other children on the playground. Except for maybe Gwyneth Paltrow's kids.

So she lies to him and tells him it is dessert, or he just thinks that because he is misinformed about the food groups? Why should she receive praise for doing what SHOULD be done for children. Get off your high horse, lady and join the rest of us trying to do what's best for our kids.

l rather lie to a kid about broccoli than letting him eat a bunch of trash food! after all moms always lie to their kids at the doctor,tv watching etc etc.so a healthy lie wont hurt

If you display the right attitude, your child should eat 99% of what they are given. My child loves all veggies, always has, and will often choose veggies over "junk" food. Guess she's not the only "perfect" mom. haha.

You are just simply beautiful and as a mom, I have the most respect for you concerning your child's nutrition. Sounds like you are a good mom.

CC and Melissa T, you two have the right idea, congratulations. My son and daughter-in-law eat sensibly and healthily and aren't the least bit arrogant about being 'better' parents than anyone else and I don't see that it hurts my 2 1/2 yr old granddaughter at all. In fact, she will pass up cookies or ice cream for grapes and other fruits, even tomatoes! If more moms cared enough to control what their children ingest there wouldn't be the childhood obesity and other illnesses American children are being stricken with. They also encourage 1/2 hr of active, physical play with her daily, and a 1/2 hr of calm-down time before bed and have never had a problem with her drifting off to sleep quietly and peacefully. She's an extremely happy child, and for that I am thankful to her parents. :)

Poor kids...I'll bet they get lumps of coal...uh...er...tofu for Christmas. And with a mother like that, they've got about 4 years of intense therapy in their future. She should be slapped.

If I were a woman, I'd let Tom Brady impregnate me. Over and over again!

if you listen to the tone of the way this was written you can get an idea of how deep our problems with food and nutrition lie.

My kid is 1 1/2 months younger than Gisele's and feels the same way about broccoli. The thing is kids don't know what they're missing so why not give them healthy food exclusively while you can get away with it. This doesn't mean they won't get junk food later, but right now I'm sticking with a healthy diet. I do offer my son a cookie or cake once in a while and he rejects it - he prefers his fruit and veggies. The only reason I see to sway from a healthy diet is when your child has dietary issues that causes picky eating. I totally get why moms in those cases are just happy getting them to eat something.
