Mariah Carey, Diet Spokeslady, Flaunts 70-Pound Weight Loss

For those of you who weren't watching Oprah's network yesterday (which research says is most of us), mother of 6-month-old twins Mariah Carey revealed on "The Rosie Show" that she's lost an astounding 70 pounds since giving birth.

Obviously, delivering two infants helped take a lot of the load off, but Mariah's waist—prominently displayed in a skin-tight mini-dress—did look even slimmer yesterday than it had during her last TV appearance -- in 20/20 interview with Barbara Walters, just over two weeks ago.

Since she required a C-section to bring Moroccan and Monroe into the world, Carey explained her health precluded her from exercising that weight off, so "the diet is 90 percent of it."

What diet did Mimi use to emancipate herself from so much weight? Mariah (and Jenny Craig Inc.) is glad you asked! Not coincidentally, Mariah was on Rosie's show as the new spokeswoman for the Jenny diet, joining a long-list of celeb endorsers including Kirstie Alley, Queen Latifah, Jason Alexander, and most recently, Carrie Fisher.

She admits a lot of the weight she ditched was regular post-pregnancy water weight and swelling.

"The first week, I lost 40 pounds...of just water," Mimi said before switching keys to sing the praises of the Jenny diet. "When I started with the program, I lost at least 30 pounds. of weight that needed to be lost." (Those last 30 pounds came off in three months.)

Now that she's diva-trim again, Mariah insists she's done with the weight scales—because she almost never used them before in her life.

"People will think I'm a liar but it's true," Carey says of her aversion to exact numbers. "This is another cliché phrase, I'm a big boned girl … I'm tall and so I always weigh more."

"I would tend to go, 'Does this size dress fit me that I wore three years ago? I'm good, let's go.' I would go by what it looked like, how I felt."

From the looks of it, Roc and Roe (those are the nicknames she and husband Nick Cannon gave their twins, Moroccan and Monroe), will grow up with the same hot momma the rest of the world has known for the last 21 years.
