Kris Humphries was apparently caught off guard by Kim Kardashian's decision to end their 72-day marriage.

"I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce," Humphries said in a statement Monday afternoon, via People.com.

"I'm committed to this marriage and everything this covenant represents, and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make it work," he added.

Really? Humphries had no idea? He heard the news from Ryan Seacrest, like the rest of the world? Bizarre: Humphries, who's visiting family in Minnesota, was spotted smiling and wearing his wedding ring while en route to the gym on Monday, according to Life & Style's website.
