The highly respected French actor (stateside credit: "My Father The Hero") could not hold his pee on a flight from Paris to Dublin. So instead of waiting his turn to go No. 1 in the bathroom, Depardieu relieved himself on the carpet as passengers watched in horror.
"I will only confirm that he, in effect, urinated in the plane," an Air France spokeswoman told the AFP, via timesofmalta.com. A passenger, relaying the incident to a European radio station, said the 62-year-old Depardieu was intoxicated and tried to get up from his seat right before take-off, muttering: "I want to piss, I want to piss." The flight attendant asked him to wait until cruising altitude; the actor stubbornly disobeyed. "And there and then he stood up and did it on the floor," recalled the passenger. "We could see he had been drinking. The stewardess was dumbfounded. No one said anything. It all happened with courtesy. Mr. Depardieu sat back down and the plane returned to the parking area to be cleaned."
This is the greatest story ever! Also, public airplane urination is now a trend. A nasty, vile trend. It's funny until YOU'RE the one in the line of fire.
