When Rachel Zoe gave birth to son Skyler, her husband rewarded her with a 10-carat Neil Lane diamond ring worth $250,000, Radar reports.

According to a source, Rodger Berman -- the Hollywood superstylist's patient yet baby-hungry husband -- picked out the emerald-cut sparkler on his own; it's more than half the size of her engagement ring.

So, in Rachel-speak-- it's BANANAS.

Zoe and Berman, her college sweetheart, welcomed little Skyler Morrison in March. After some intensive deliberation (documented last season on Bravo's "Rachel Zoe Project"), the couple decided to have a baby, fulfilling Berman's longtime desire to be a dad. Zoe always loved kids, but she wondered whether she could balance mommyhood with her demanding (and lucrative) career. She seems to be doing just fine, especially with that giant new rock. Diamonds are a Zoe's best friend.
