"Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez have ended their relationship," a rep for the couple tells The Famous. "As they go through this difficult time, we ask that you respect the couple's privacy."
Life & Style first reported the news on its web site Monday afternoon, posting: "Sources close to the stars say the couple has been engaged in a rocky relationship in the past couple of months and could not make it work."
Fedotowsky, an ex-Facebook employee-turned-reality show contestant, picked Martinez, an insurance agent, on "The Bachelorette" in the summer of 2010. He proposed with a $50,000 engagement ring; they quickly became red-carpet fixtures as a happy poster couple disproving the dismal track record of ABC's "The Bachelor/Bachelorette" franchise. Their last public appearance was in July, when they donned matching bowling shirts for a San Diego fundraiser.
