  • Bieber at the launch this afternoon. - D Dipasupil/FilmMagicWell, this is kind of scary.

ABC News is reporting that Justin Bieber was knocked to the ground outside of his appearance at a Macy's in Herald Square today.

Bieber was at the iconic New York City store to promote the release of his new women's fragrance "Someday." He had decided to come outside of the store to greet the fans who weren't able to get into the event. According to witnesses, an unidentified man jumped over a barrier and knocked him down. Bieber was not injured but understandably was quite "shaken up."

The man was taken away by police.

    More details to come, presumably.

Update: According to TMZ, Bieber was not, in fact, attacked. Rather, a plainclothed, undercover police officer approached Bieber, who thought the man was a "crazy fan." A member of Bieber's security team grabebd the officer, who immediately identified himself.

  • It's never easy to see an ex move on to a new relationship. But for Kim Kardashian, this unpleasantness must be compounded by the fact that her ex has moved on to a new relationship... with a woman who looks a whole lot like her.

Remember that seemingly ubiquitous Old Navy ad featuring a woman who bore more than a passing resemblance to Kardashian? Well, her name is Melissa Molinaro. She's a singer/actress. And she is currently dating Reggie Bush, who in addition to being Kardashian's ex-boyfriend is also a halfback on the New Orleans Saints.

Bush and Molinaro have been dating for a few months, according to TMZ. They apparently met about two years ago, but didn't start dating until last summer, becoming "official" by Christmas. E! News dug up a picture of Bush dining with Molinaro at her birthday dinner in Beverly Hills earlier this month.

"To me, it's extremely flattering," Molinaro told E! News about the Kardashian comparisons. "She is a beautiful woman in her own right. You

  • She went business casual this time. - Kevork Djansezian/Getty ImagesUpdates: Lindsay Lohan will not go to jail, TMZ reports. Turns out there was no court order requiring alcohol testing, so Lohan's off the hook. The judge, however, decreed that she have no more parties while under house arrest. Also, she's only allowed to have one friend over at a time. Harsh, yet fair.

    Previously:

Just moments ago, Lindsay Lohan sprinted through a gauntlet of media on her way into court for failing an alcohol test under house arrest. The live stream on TMZ gives us anxiety: the cameraman are determined yet buzzed from the high of breaking news, angling for the best footage of Lohan's humiliation. It must be torture for her to have to walk through that, but she's put herself in this situation. She's been given countless opportunities to get her head right, yet she sabotages them all because perhaps she feels she's above the law. Anyway, let's focus on more important matters: WHAT SHE'S WEARING.

As you can see, Lohan has ditched her signature sexy courtwear for

  • We told you about the bizarre but legal marriage of "Lost" actor Doug Hutchison, 51, and aspiring country singer Courtney Stodden, who is 16. We repeat: SIXTEEN. Turns out Stodden has a personal Youtube channel, where she posts her music videos. In this confessional-style clip, the California teen wife discusses the perils of cyberbullying and takes on her haters:

Stodden's campaign isn't working: the comments on the clip are BRUTAL, attacking her looks ("You don't look like 16. More like 30"), voice ("please learn how to sing -- autotune is not your friend") and mentioning the otherwise unprintable. Stodden, however, must not be too worried about such intensely negative feedback; the mean messages remain posted, which means she may welcome the controversy. It makes her more famous, and isn't that what she wants?

  • It would appear that "Glee" star Cory Monteith's real life childhood has little in common with that of his fictional TV counterpart.

Monteith -- who plays lovable Finn Hudson on "Glee" and who will appear in the upcoming Selena Gomez flick "Monte Carlo" -- revealed to Parade Magazine that he had a serious drug problem when he was younger.

He said he started drinking and smoking pot at age 13 and, by the time he was 16, he was "out of control."

    Eventually, he took up drugs.

"Anything and everything," he says, "as much as possible. I had a serious problem."

His mother and some friends staged an intervention and Monteith checked into rehab at age 19. But the same issues remained.

"I did the stint but then went back to doing exactly what I left off doing," he recalls.

What finally helped him turn things around?

Monteith stole money from a family member, who -- once the transgression was revealed -- said he would press charges unless Monteith cleaned up his act.

    Now 29 (and playing a

  • "She drove him nuts." - Venturelli/WireImageA day after the announcement that George Clooney and Elisabetta Canalis have called it quits, today brings the reports about what may have led to the demise of their relationship.

Us Weekly says that the first signs of discontent arose during the couple's trip to Mexico over New Year's, when Canalis got on Clooney's last nerve.

"She drove him nuts," the source says, explaining there was "non-stop bickering over little things... He would only hang out with his friends, and more or less left her to herself and her friends."

Clooney also reportedly "created distance" from Canalis with his busy work schedule.

E! News basically corroborates this story in their report.

"He's been trying to figure out how to get out of this for a while," said a close Clooney bud, regarding the slow goodbye of Elisabetta. "And let's face it, this always happens..."

Another source of friction, according to E!, was Canalis' insecurity around Clooney's famous Hollywood pals, such as Julia Roberts and Brad Pitt.

  • Justin Bieber is in New York this week to hawk his new fragrance for women, Someday, and he stopped by "The Late Show" with David Letterman to deliver the Top 10 ("Top 10 Little Known Facts about Justin Bieber").

The whole thing is kind of strange: the fact that Bieber is promoting a fragrance "for women" (not for "ladies," as Paul Shaffer suggests) in the first place; the way Letterman and Shaffer talk about him like he's not there; the way Bieber looks like he's having about as much fun as a kid at the dentist.

Bieber is appearing at the Macy's in Herald Square today for the launch of the fragrance. (The first 325 customers to purchase a $135 bottle will, yes, get to meet Bieber in person.) So you probably want to steer clear of, well, all of Manhattan today, in order to avoid the Belieber throngs.

  • Getty ImagesReally, Lindsay? Our Lady of Trainwreckage has tested positive for alcohol while under house arrest, which means she's heading back to court -- and maybe jail. Sources tell TMZ she's scheduled for a hearing TODAY for flunking a test administered after she threw that party on her roof. The L.A. Country Probation Department will ask a judge to throw Lohan in jail for, like, the bazillionth time. We've lost count of Lohan's jail stints. Gah, she's exhausting, isn't she? Lilo's blown every opportunity to shape up, and eventually win that Oscar she craves. You'd think that after all the crap she's been through, she'd quit breaking the law -- and believing she's above it.

Suddenly the curious timing of Lohan's house arrest portrait, a brazen attempt at rehabbing her image, makes total sense. Even more brazen: Her publicist called off an interview on Tuesday with Matt Lauer, who had flown all the way to Los Angeles to sit in Lohan's house, crew intact, waiting for the troubled star to come

  • In January at the Golden Globes. - Neilson Barnard/Getty ImagesTwo actors you really like are dating. Allegedly.

Emma Stone ("Easy A") and Andrew Garfield ("The Social Network") -- co-stars in next summer's "The Amazing Spider-Man" -- are reportedly dating, according to Us Weekly.

"They got close during filming and have been hooking up," says the magazine's source.

Both Stone, 22, and Garfield, 27, recently became single. Garfield split with long-time girlfriend Shannon Woodward ("Raising Hope") in May. Stone recently broke up with Kieran Culkin ("Scott Pilgrim vs. the World"), whom she'd been dating since the fall.

"[Stone and Garfield] haven't gone public, but he's told his friends," the source says.

Not to toot our own horns too much, but we did predict this (admittedly, we thought it would happen a bit closer to the film's scheduled release).
