  • Taylor Momsen Points Finger at Media

"I still went through the ages." - Venturelli/WireImageLast fall, "Gossip Girl" star and Pretty Reckless rocker Taylor Momsen told the magazine Revolver that her parents had essentially forced her into a life of show business at an extremely young age.

"My parents signed me up with Ford at the age of 2... no 2-year-old wants to be working, but I had no choice," she said.

The parents of the 17-year-old were none too pleased about this portrayal and, as Momsen told the magazine Kerrang, they felt "horrible" reading the interview.

"I think my parents have learned by this point that none of [what they read] is probably true, and words can be put in your mouth."

This is sort of a weird way of "setting the record straight," which is how this interview is billed. So is she saying that her Revolver quote was taken out of context? Does she stand by her previous criticism of her parents? Her quote is as platitudinous and vague as a "Gossip Girl" voiceover!

She goes on to tell Kerrang that, contrary to popular belief, she was able to have a somewhat

  • Martha Stewart’s Dog Rises Up Against Her

Martha "resting quietly" while waiting for her doctor to arrive from his home. - The Martha BlogMartha Stewart had just returned to her Bedford, New York home on Tuesday night after trips to Colombia, South America and Orlando, Florida. She was exhausted, no doubt, but, due to the predicted blizzard, she decided to head into the city that night for her Wednesday morning commitments in order to arrive before the heavy snowfall. She packed up her stuff and -- before running out the door -- leaned down to "whisper goodbye" to her "dozing" dog Francesca.

Francesca, though, had other plans for her master. The dog "bolted upright" and "hit" Martha in the face with the force of, in Martha's words, "a boxing glove hitting an opponent's face."

As Martha wrote on her blog, "I was entirely startled and my neck snapped back. I felt a bit of whiplash as blood gushed forth from my split lip. Frannie was as upset as I was and cowered in her bed."

This is Martha Stewart we are talking about, though. An attack from her dog is just a minor blip in an otherwise equanimous existence and should be

  • "The look on his face!" - Chris Weeks/WireImageAfter 13 years of marriage, Camille Grammer knows exactly how to push Kelsey's buttons -- especially while they endure an increasingly bitter divorce.

While handing off her two kids to the actor on Wednesday, Camille decided it was a good time to introduce herself to his new fiancee Kayte Walsh, the 29-year-old flight attendant with whom Kelsey had an affair.

"My girlfriend Diedre, who you saw on the show ("The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills"), says, "We have to go down and meet her," Grammer said last night on Bravo's "Watch What Happens."

"She was nice, and we both said hello. She has a very strong handshake. It was uncomfortable. Kelsey looked shocked. The look on his face!"

How awkward! At the same time, weirdly satisfying in a jilted-wife-makes-husband-squirm sort of way. Camille, the most villainous Real Housewife ever of all time, is finally owning up to her TV antics: "I was a monster," she told Us Weekly in a damage-control interview clearly meant to get public opinion

  • Bieber tweeted this photo from the "CSI" set Tuesday with the hashtag "#badass." - twitter.com/justinbieberIt's starting to seem like Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber -- who, after playing coy for weeks, all but outed themselves as a couple when they were photographed canoodling on a yacht in the Caribbean last week -- have been struck by some kind of curse.

First a leaked months-old photo of Bieber (or someone with an uncanny resemblance to him) making out with a fan in Toronto took the internet by storm. Then Gomez's Twitter and Facebook accounts were hacked Wednesday morning. And then Thursday, while Bieber was on the "CSI" set shooting his second guest appearance, he suffered an allergic reaction. Thankfully, Bieber is OK; he was taken to a Burbank hospital, discharged after 30 minutes, and is now back on set.

Hopefully Bieber's appearance at the Golden Globe Awards this weekend (he's presenting) will take place without incident; just to be safe, he might want to avoid being photographed with Gomez again before Sunday night.

  • The parents to be. - Maury Phillips/WireImageSelma Blair is expecting her first child with her fashion designer boyfriend, Jason Bleick, People.com reports.

The 38-year-old fashionista and actress ("Cruel Intentions," "Legally Blonde") started dating Bleick a year ago after they met to collaborate on his line EVER, for which he is creative director. "They are ecstatic," a pal of the couple says. "The couldn't be happier."

Blair's happy news is further evidence that another celebrity baby boom is upon us -- Kate Hudson, Natalie Portman, Jane Krakowski/Jenna from "30 Rock." Which begs the question: Who will be next?>

In the meantime, congrats to Selma and Jason!

  • Spencer Pratt has been twittering it up this afternoon, offering commentary on Charlie Sheen's recent antics, the Swift-Gyllenhaal break-up and Snooki ("I think Snooki should be an honorary Kardashian sister," he opined).

He also bought the new Britney Spears single, started tweeting from his new Blackberry Torch, took some pictures of his dog, and laughed at some Heidi Montag witticisms (such a comedian, that Heidi). A busy afternoon!

But of all of his Thursday tweets, we were most struck by his "history lesson." Pratt awarded credit where credit is due, to the first person who was able to successfully be "famous for being famous": one Paris Hilton.

It can be so easy to get caught up in the daily grind of celebrity news; it's important to take time to reflect on how we got to where we are now.

  • Recall the greatest celebrity feuds of all time: There's Britney and Christina. Leno and Letterman. Donald Trump and Rosie O'Donnell. Piers Morgan and ... Madonna?

The new host of "Piers Morgan Tonight" is no fan of The Material Girl: His CNN talk show has yet to air, and he's already banned her as a guest. Morgan fanned the flames at the CNN Television Critics Association Winter 2011 Session last week, calling Madonna "an irritant in my life for the past 20 years" and demanding an on-air apology if she ever wished to be on his show.

    Bitter, table for one?

Morgan initially criticized Madonna's "boring" personality for the ban. "She is too vegan for TV. We have Lady Gaga now so Madonna is banned from my show," he told the Daily Express in December. But when Billy Bush grilled him on the subject on "Access Hollywood" this week, Morgan cryptically answered: "There's a few things (that) have happened. She knows."

So with narrowed eyes and Matt Lauer-esque determination, Bush pressed some

  • Tom, Rita and Chet. - Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagicWe told you about the fascinating rap debut of Tom Hanks' son Chet, a 20-year-old Northwestern University theater major with big music dreams. The aspiring rapper (stage name: Chet Haze) speaks out in an interview with Celebritology, and answers the question we've all been wondering: How did Forrest Gump raise a hip-hop star?

"You know, he keeps an open mind," says Chet, whose mother is Rita Wilson, aka Mrs. Tom Hanks. "I've spent a lot of time trying to show him a lot of the music that inspires me. And he does keep an open mind."

Chet became an Internet celebrity overnight with the release of his hip-hop remix "White and Purple." One could imagine Hanks and Wilson rolling their eyes at their silly son from a manse in Malibu and going HA HA HA, but no: They fully support Chet's ambitions.

"They do know about it and they share my excitement," he says. "And they're also very supportive, which is something I appreciate. It goes without saying that the support of my parents is something

  • Yes, we know this is technically Mario Lopez, not "A.C. Slater," but we think of them as one and the same. - John M. Heller/Getty ImagesWell, this is a weird one.

Police were called to a bar outside of Chicago last week after a customer allegedly shattered a framed photograph of A.C. Slater (a.k.a the fictional jock played by Mario Lopez on "Saved by the Bell").

What drove this man to such fury?

"I just don't like Slater," the man reportedly told the bar's owner after removing it from its honorable place above the urinal in the men's bathroom and then smashing it on the ground, according to the Chicago Tribune. He left after another person gave the bar owner $11 for the broken frame.

While that may have covered the property damage, it won't even come close to making up for the emotional damage such a Slater desecration must have inflicted on the bar's patrons that night. It's as if this man took the country's collective adolescence and smashed it to bits.

  • A.J. McLean Checks Into Rehab

"See u on the other side!" he tweeted. - Michael Kovac/FilmMagicBackstreet Boy A.J. McLean is returning to rehab, after two previous stints in 2001 and 2002 for alcohol and cocaine abuse.

TMZ reports that McLean has been "out of control" for the past few months due to problems with substance abuse and that his troubles were "interfering" with the plans for the upcoming Backstreet Boys/New Kids on the Block joint tour.

"For personal reasons, I've checked myself into a rehab clnic," McLean said in a statement. "With 2011 being a busy year for Backstreet, I want to be healthy and at my best. Thank you for all of your support and respecting my family and friends' privacy during this time."
