She's written a heartfelt message to fans. She flew up to Minnesota for a sad sitdown with Humphries. She's not even wearing makeup.

So get this: the blog Media Take Out claims -- with signature sensationalism -- that Kardashian and Humphries are plotting to reconcile this week. The alleged reason: E! Entertainment Television, which broadcasts the Kardashians' lucrative reality shows, is threatening to pull the blog on the spinoff "Kourtney & Kim Take New York" (in addition to reruns of the multi-million-dollar wedding special) amid public backlash. Humphries, currently in Minnesota escaping the hoopla, was involved in the taping of the latest season until Kardashian abruptly filed for divorce on Halloween.

So what's the real deal?

Not only did she deny that she's been boozing, but a doctor offered a medical explanation for her slurred words and glassy-eyed appearance: The combo of prescriptions drugs she's taking.

Sitting down with Dr. Paul Nassif (the husband of fellow Housewife Adrienne) and a Bravo camera that just happened to be there, Richards told him what she's been prescribed.

Lohan's publicist, Steve Honig, confirmed reports she's posing in the nude, telling The Famous in a statement: "Lindsay has completed a successful photo shoot for Playboy magazine and will be on the cover of the January/February issue, which hits newsstands in late December. The pictorial is absolutely fantastic and very tasteful, and will be accompanied by an interview that will let readers see another side of Lindsay."

According to TMZ, an anonymous blogger on Tumblr, the social-media site, wrote about planning to "murder" Beadles and warning that the 17-year-old aspiring actress wouldn't know what hit her until she "wakes up on the other side of her bed with a knife." Police identified the perpetrator as a 14-year-old girl from Kentucky who's developmentally disabled; her mother is apparently "closely monitoring her internet activities."

The god-fearing, child-rearing stars of TLC's "19 Kids and Counting" attract circus-like fascination with their oversized brood: the oldest, Joshua, is 23 and has two children; the youngest, Josie, was born in December 2009 and had complications at birth.

Matriarch Michelle, who's 45, is about three-and-a-half months pregnant. "I feel good. I am past the sickness stage now," quoth she.
