  • Jennifer Aniston’s Dog Has Died

Sad news for Aniston. - Getty ImagesJennifer Aniston's dog, Norman -- which she has posed with in ads and brought out on "Chelsea Lately" and, from all accounts, has loved dearly for a long time -- passed away "a few weeks ago."

Us Weekly calls our attention to a relevant quote Aniston -- who also has another dog, a white German Shepherd mix named Dolly -- gave back when she was promoting "Marley and Me" in 2008.

"Men come and go but there really is no relationship like the one you have with a dog - and then they don't live as long as they should," she said. "You have to say goodbye way too soon. It's just so sad. It makes me so sad. But their love is unconditional and I love that."

This also changes our understanding of last week's news that Aniston signed for her new New York City apartment under Norman's name from a quirky choice to, assuming Norman died before the deal closed, a melancholy one.

  • Ah-nold and Mar-eee-a. - Chelsea Lauren/FilmMagicHere's why Maria Shriver moved out: Arnold Schwarzenegger had a secret love child with a member of their household staff, and she left him earlier this year when he finally 'fessed up. He released this statement to the L.A. Times last night:

"After leaving the governor's office I told my wife about the event, which occurred over a decade ago. I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family. There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry."

The political power couple announced their split last week. Even though rumors of Ah-nold's philandering surfaced over the years, the breakup was still shocking because they seemed so solid despite. But Shriver's no shrinking violet: she refused to stand by her man anymore after learning of his transgression with the staffer, whom the Times won't name to protect the family's privacy. The woman retired

  • Intense. - GQBehold the intense gaze of Alexander Skarsgard: it's part Paul Newman, part Swedish foreign exchange student who reads taut mystery novels, surfs in 40-degree weather and does not suffer fools gladly. In other words, swoon. The "True Blood" vamp has moved on from blood-soaked nude photoshoots with his castmates to a solo cover for GQ's June issue. There is an interview too, and he describes the difference between Los Angeles and his native Sweden:

"You walk into the coffee shop, and the girl asks how your day is. When I first moved here, I loved that. I know it's shallow and superficial and she doesn't give a f--k about my day, but I still like it. It's difficult to get to know a Swede. But once you do, you're in. ... You're never going to see a television show The Skarsgards."

That's too bad. Also, Skarsgard clearly disapproves of the reality-famous Kardashian family, and their lack of boundaries. Above it all, Alex? Don't be! We'd love to see a TV show about the intriguingly awkward

  • Miu Miu Picks Hailee Steinfeld as Its New Face

While most 14-year-olds are happy if they've managed to get rid of their acne and if they have someone to sit with on the schoolbus, Hailee Steinfeld -- at that same age -- has already been nominated for an Oscar and scored one of the most coveted fashion ad campaigns in the world.

The "True Grit" scene-stealer will be featured in the upcoming fall-winter 2011 campaign for Miu Miu, the Italian label previously represented by the likes of Katie Holmes, Evan Rachel Wood and Vanessa Paradis.

E! News cites a rep for Prada, Miu Miu's parent company, which confirmed Steinfeld has already shot the campaign.

Back in March, Steinfeld was a special guest at the Miu Miu show at Paris' Fashion Week, foreshadowing the deal.

  • Farrell. - FilmMagicFew people know that Colin Farrell's 7-year-old son, James, has a rare neuro-genetic disorder called Angelman Syndrome. In a new interview on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," the Irish actor reveals the little boy was diagnosed because of his fascination with water.

"James is kind of obsessed with water," Farrell told DeGeneres on Friday's show (via Celebrity Baby Scoop). "He's not a great swimmer but he just loves being close to it and in and around it. It's one of the characteristics of the condition that he has."

According to Farrell, "The doctor saw him one day and said, 'Is he always this happy ... and does he always kind of flap his arms like that? And we said, 'Yes.' And he said, 'And how does he feel about water?' and we said, 'Oh, water's fascinating (to him).' He went, 'Has he been tested for Angelman Syndrome?' We didn't know what that was."

James' mother is his ex-girlfriend Kim Bordenave; Farrell first spoke publicly about James' diagnosis in October 2007, telling the Irish

  • Just a few clicks and this hat could be yours. - Pascal Le Segretain/Getty ImagesWe had a hunch Princess Beatrice's Royal Wedding hat -- which nearly overshadowed Kate Middleton's dress -- would generate significant interest after being placed on eBay, and we were right.

There have been 56 bids on the hat so far, with the piece of art (we're just going to go ahead and deem it a "piece of art") currently going for 16,500 pounds (roughly $26,700).

There are about five and a half days left before bidding closes, so you better expedite the mortgage on your house you put through when the auction was announced.

  • Brian, Nicky and Paris circa 2002. - Getty ImagesAs you read this, imagine TLC's "No Scrubs" playing in the background: an angry ex-girlfriend of ex-MTV VJ Brian McFayden is suing him for being a mooch. TMZ says Kristin Lancione accuses McFayden, 34, of using her for her Playstation 3 -- and fraud. In the lawsuit, Lancione claims he "fraudulently represented to (her) that he planned on asking her to marry her, but could not find a job to support himself." Like a lazy post-grad living in his parent's attic for no charge, McFayden allegedly "had no intention of finding a job, and wanted the cash flow so he could remain unemployed, stay at home all day, and play her PS3 videogame system on (her) 72 inch television while (Kristin) was at work."

She seeks $86,000 out of his pocket, including $1,200 for therapy sessions.

A rep for McFayden, who dated Nicky Hilton nearly a decade ago (here's photographic evidence), did not immediately respond to our request for comment on the lawsuit.

  • While Kim Kardashian almost always looks impeccably groomed -- no doubt with a team of 20 deliberating every hair, makeup and wardrobe decision -- Britney Spears usually dresses like an 8th grader at a slumber party.

But, this weekend, the two women sartorially crossed paths, if you will, as they wore the same Herve Leger dress across the country from one another. Kardashian wore it Friday night in Miami while Spears sported hers Saturday night in Los Angeles at Wango Tango.

    kimkardashian.celebuzz.comkimkardashian.celebuzz.com

Kardashian, who posted the pictures on her blog, attempted to downplay any of the Us Weekly-fueled "Who Wore It Best?" mentality by politely commenting, "love bright colors and Brit looks so fab! It's the perfect summer dress!"

We can't believe we're saying this -- and maybe we're just reacting to the shock of the rare occurrence of Spears seemingly putting some effort into her look -- but we think Spears may actually have won this "battle"? Hmmm, now that we're thinking about it though, we're not totally sure?

  • Lindsay Lohan Hangs Out With Marilyn Manson

The unlikely pair. - Donato Sardella/Getty ImagesYes, this is Lindsay Lohan and Marilyn Manson -- just the guy you want to be hanging out with a week after you were sentenced for violating your probation, barely evading jail time.

Lohan and Manson hung out Sunday night at the DeLeon Tequila Anniversary party at fave Lohan hangout the Chateau Marmont.

According to TMZ, Lohan didn't touch any alcohol while she was there, but we're not really sure why she continues to steadfastly attend these sorts of events. Would a diabetic attend a soiree at Dylan's Candy Bar? Would a dude allergic to shellfish bring a date to Red Lobster? (Feel free to brainstorm some Lohan analogies of your own -- it's fun!)

  • Don Lemon. - Brian To/FilmMagicDon Lemon says he's gay. The 45-year-old weekend primetime anchor for CNN had been out to his colleagues, but remained wary of telling the world out of fear that he would be shunned and ridiculed. He decided to go public while writing his new memoir, "Transparent," wherein he also reveals he was molested as a child.

"I abhor hypocrisy," he tells The New York Times. "I think if you're going to be in the business of news, and telling people the truth, of trying to shed light in dark places, then you've got to be honest. You've got to have the same rules for yourself as you do everyone else."

In coming out, Lemon joins fellow openly gay TV journalists, including MSNBC's Rachel Maddow and Thomas Roberts. There are others who remain closeted.

"It would be great if everybody could be out," he says. "But it's such a personal choice. People have to do it at their own speed. I respect that. I do have to say that the more people who come out, the better it is for everyone, certainly for the
