Us Weekly calls our attention to a relevant quote Aniston -- who also has another dog, a white German Shepherd mix named Dolly -- gave back when she was promoting "Marley and Me" in 2008.
"Men come and go but there really is no relationship like the one you have with a dog - and then they don't live as long as they should," she said. "You have to say goodbye way too soon. It's just so sad. It makes me so sad. But their love is unconditional and I love that."
This also changes our understanding of last week's news that Aniston signed for her new New York City apartment under Norman's name from a quirky choice to, assuming Norman died before the deal closed, a melancholy one.
