Lohan threw a barbecue on the roof of her Venice, California townhouse on Sunday, which was attended by about eight friends. Lohan was seen in photographs laughing, smoking cigarettes and even kissing an unidentified man.

When officers arrived at her house recently due to a false alarm from her monitoring bracelet, Lohan was found reading scripts, posing for photographs and watching televisions (presumably not all at the same time).

It also looks like Lohan might be entertaining none other than Kim Kardashian later this week.

The reality star tweeted at Lohan yesterday, "Are u gonna cook this week?"

So far, no response from Lohan.

Jessica Simpson is the new Tim Gunn. The clothing and shoe empress, whose brand is worth almost $1 billion (!!!), has signed on to star as the celebrity mentor for NBC's upcoming reality series "Fashion Star."

The gist of the show: 14 Jessica wannabes compete for the chance to win a lucrative contract to sell their merch at three top American retailers; three buyers will serve as judges, supermodel Elle Mcpherson will host and Simpson will advise contestants on how to launch a wildly successful brand. (The gig's requirements did not include knowing the difference between chicken and tuna.)

After a failed flirtation with joining the "American Idol" judges' panel, the bubbly merchandising mogul seems to have found a better fit with "Fashion Star." We'll be watching to get tips on hawking our vintage line of Hypercolor T-shirts from 1995 that nobody wants. This means we'd be the first one eliminated, and wouldn't even be invited to the reunion special.

Tracy Morgan is a smart guy who often pretends to play dumb for laughs. But his ugly homophobic rant during a stand-up act was no laughing matter (see: the part where he says he'd stab his son if he found out he was gay). In damage-control mode, the "30 Rock" star continues making apologies:

"I guess the reason I am successful is because I am so unfiltered. And sometimes as a result I say really stupid s--t. The truth is if I had a gay son, I would love him just as much as if he was straight ... I might have to try to love even more because I know of the difficulty that he would have in society.

What I am most sad about is the comments I made about kids and bullying. I would never want any young person to think that I wasn't on their side and if any young person thinks they can bully a young gay kid, come see me at '30 Rock.' On the corner, I would be happy to meet you. Or Brooklyn if you can't make it into Manhattan. ... I appreciate the love from friends and fans, but I was wrong.

The youngest Jonas. - Astrid Stawiarz/Getty ImagesSo Nick Jonas is dating a 26-year-old pop singer from Australia, Delta Goodrem, and the consensus on Twitter from Jonas Brother die-hards is that this is some sort of travesty that should be dealt with immediately.

The main "complaint" seems to be the age gap between the pair as Jonas, at 18, is eight years younger than Goodrem.

The pair held hands yesterday in California which cemented their romantic status after they returned from a two-week trip to Bali where they attended a songwriting camp.

While we do not know Jonas or Goodrem personally and cannot speak to the appropriateness of their relationship (for what it's worth, Jonas seems like an "old" 18 to us), we would like to point out that Taylor Swift recently dated Jake Gyllenhaal (nine-year age gap) and Blake Lively's dating some dude 13 years older than her, and no one seemed to bat an eyelash in either case.

Family outing to a Petco in Los Angeles. - Jean Baptiste Lacroix/WireImageKim Kardashian and fiance Kris Humphries are new parents .... to a puppy. The couple debuted their furry little bundle of joy during a trip to Petco yesterday, and it looks like they've stocked up on all the equipment necessary for proper dog-rearing. Humphries looks like a dutiful dad (who just so happens to resemble the Jolly Green Giant, all 7 feet whatever inches.) Meanwhile, Kardashian seems pretty calm given the cheating scandal that's been dominating headlines since NFL star Bret Lockett claimed she aggressively pursued him while dating Humphries. Turns out, Lockett never even met her. Which begs the question: Why would he make up this crap, and go on live TV to spread rumors? That's not what professional football players do! That's what Spencer Pratt does!

Kardashian and Humphries are no doubt laughing this off, and worrying about more important things: like finding a compromise between their different approaches to parenting.

"Feeling much better..." - Getty ImagesAfter she was hospitalized on Thursday, suffering from nausea and a severe headache, Selena Gomez was released over the weekend and appears to be back at work.

"Feeling much better, thank you all for being so understanding," she tweeted Monday. "Can't wait to see you all today at Santa Monica Place for the Monte Carlo kick off."

Gomez's appearance at a Santa Monica mall Friday had been postponed due to her illness.

The cause for the hospital stay was reportedly "blood pressure-related health issues."

She wrote on her Facebook page yesterday: "I just wanted to say thank you so much for all of the get well wishes. I love you guys so much."

Boyfriend Justin Bieber tweeted "#getwellselena" on Friday, the ultimate sign of affection in these modern times.

"Gates lets slip that Zuckerberg may be engaged to Priscilla Chan, his long-term girlfriend: 'I didn't say to Mark, "Give me all your money!"' He was predisposed to do it and he came to me seeking advice. His fiancee Priscilla thought about education and he gave some money to Newark, New Jersey, and we did a co-grant so that some of our people who had some expertise in the field could help him out. Are Zuckerberg and Chan slated to join together in the holy bond of matrimony? OR, did Gates assume as much? Either way, what a big-mouth. A Microsoft exec tells Business Insider:

"If (Mark is engaged, Bill Gates) knows something I don't know. Gates's communications guy just wrote to apologize for the misunderstanding."

Middleton had been dating Alex Loudon, a former professional cricket player and current broker, for about a year, but -- right as her sister Kate's love life has come into full bloom -- Pippa's appears to have shattered.

"It is common knowledge in their close circle of friends that Pippa and Alex have recently split up," a "friend" told the Times of London.

Meanwhile, the Sun says Pippa's "newfound celebrity" caused friction in the relationship, though the pair will "stay good friends."

Loudon was Pippa's guest at the Royal Wedding, where he sat in the Middleton family box.

The news is sure to ignite rumors that Pippa may be romantically involved with George Percy, her college ex-boyfriend whom she has been spotted with in Spain and Europe recently.
