ScarJo: Nude Pics Were for Ryan Reynolds

For being such a big star in Hollywood, Scarlett Johansson is seriously private. The "Lost in Translation" star, 26, rarely spoke about her former two-year marriage to actor Ryan Reynolds, with whom she split in December 2010, and she stayed mostly mum this year when her email account was hacked and nude photos of her surfaced online. Finally, however, ScarJo's broken the silence. The raspy-voiced actress opened up to Vanity Fair about Ryan, those photos, and much more.

First, let's set the record straight: Scarlett says that the pics she took were meant for Ryan, not the eyes of the public. In fact, a Florida man was indicted last month on 26 counts of hacking into the devices of stars including Scarlett, Mila Kunis, and others. He faces up to 121 years in prison, according to the Associated Press.

"They were sent to my husband. There's nothing wrong with that. It's not like I was shooting a porno," the actress explains, before adding, "Although there's nothing wrong with that either."

She also readily admits that parting ways with Ryan, star of "The Proposal" and "Green Lantern," was tough on her. They split shortly after her four-month stint in Arthur Miller's "A View from the Bridge" ended, an exhausting gig that won ScarJo a 2010 Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Play.

"I didn't really know what to do with myself," said Johansson, who stars alongside Matt Damon in the upcoming Cameron Crowe movie "We Bought a Zoo." "It was such a strange time. There was nothing that was interesting to me. I had a very public separation. It was difficult. I felt very uncomfortable."

One of the friends Scarlett had to help her through the split was filmmaker Woody Allen, who's directed her in flicks such as "Match Point" and "Vicky Cristina Barcelona." She declares that their relationship -- with many calling her his "muse" -- is based on something very unsexy.

"The only reason why Woody and I are still friends is because I've diagnosed all kinds of his skin tags, lesions, ailments. I've prescribed things for Woody that he's then asked his doctor to prescribe for him," she says, adding that she'd like to work with him again. "I don't think anything's played out. I'm waiting for him to write my 'Citizen Kane.'"

Whether Woody comes through on that or not, perhaps he can offer ScarJo some advice on his profession in years ahead. "I would like to direct," she tells the magazine. "I'd be happy to work behind the camera, forever."
