Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin Celebrate 10 Years of Marriage

Gywneth Paltrow and her man, Chris Martin, 36, have defied pestering breakup rumors and Hollywood marriage odds to mark their 10-year wedding anniversary on Friday, December 6.

A decade ago, the actress, 41, and the Coldplay frontman said "I do" in front of family and friends in Santa Barbara, California.

Despite they're steadfastness, the longtime pair, who are parents to daughter Apple, 9, and son Moses, 7, have never been one to flaunt their romance, choosing not to walk red carpets together.

This public shyness, the couple's jet-set lifestyle (they own homes in London, L.A. , NYC, and the Hamptons), and busy professional schedules have meant they're rarely seen together and, thus, their relationship has been plagued by split rumors.

Most recently, reports alleged that the Oscar-winning actress was romantically involved with supermodel Elle Macpherson's billionaire husband Jeff Soffer, though her representatives expressly denied the claims.

Paltrow was very candid during an interview with Refinery29 while promoting her film, "Thanks For Asking," which explores sex addiction, earlier this year.

"No couple is the same, and as such, every couple takes on different challenges. I would like to think that I would be forgiving and/or forgiven," she said when sharing her thoughts on affairs.

However, by reaching this milestone the couple seems to be handling the ups and downs of marriage just fine.

No word on whether Martin went the traditional tin/aluminum route for his anniversary gift to Gwynnie, or if he decided to go with the modern-day decade tradition of diamonds.
