Sofia Vergara and her fiancé Nick Loeb were reportedly given the boot from a New Year’s Eve bash in Miami after he got into a fight with a fellow reveler – and the “Modern Family” actress’ dress was ripped in the melee. According to the New York Post’s Page Six, the Florida politician had been acting “tense” all night – primarily because he and Vergara were partying in the VIP section alongside her ex, nightlife king Chris Paciello, who was hosting the soiree at new club Story. But even though the sexy brunette and Paciello are only friends (they broke up more than a decade ago!), Loeb was a little on edge.
“In the early hours, Nick and Sofia were arguing before he got into a dispute with somebody at a neighboring table,” an eyewitness tells the paper. “Some pushing and shoving started.” Apparently the 40-year-old actress attempted to intervene – and her blue-and-black strapless Mason by Michelle Mason dress was either torn or pulled down, exposing her cleavage to bystanders. Her 20-year-old son Manolo was reportedly so offended – and probably embarrassed – that he left the club immediately. Loeb, meanwhile, was kicked out by security as Vergara trailed behind him.
“Things got pretty heated, but she was never hit,” a second source tells Page Six. “Nick was pretty bruised from struggling with security. None of the drama was Sofia’s fault, but despite the big scene [Loeb] created, they made up outside the club, and she took him back to their hotel.”

Aside from the reported dustup, Vergara and Loeb, 37, seem to be on good terms. On New Year’s Day, she posted a photo of her man while out for a Chinese dinner, and on Wednesday, she added another of them having lunch … with her playfully sticking her tongue in his ear while hugging him.
The relationship has definitely had its share of tempestuous moments. Vergara and Loeb split this past May after two years of dating – reportedly because he was controlling and she was too fiery – only to reunite and get engaged in July on her 40th birthday.
Vergara’s rep did not respond to omg!’s request for a comment on the New Year’s Eve drama.
