The “Stay” singer partied on Thursday night at Hollywood club The Block sans her sometimes-boyfriend, Chris Brown. Instead, Rihanna – clad in a bright orange wrap dress, fur coat, and bright red lips – hit the hot spot with her girlfriends.
Earlier in the day, she revealed on Instagram that “Mary Jane will be my Valentine,” as omg! reported. Hours later, she posted another ode to her green lady: a “bouquet” of marijuana, with the caption, “Roses are green! Somebody knows how to make me happy.”
That person is clearly not Brown, 23.
The night before Valentine’s Day, the two – who were all over each other at the Grammys on Sunday – kept a clear distance while both attending an event at Playhouse. According to Us Weekly, they spent the entire evening on opposite sides of the club and never once interacted. "She refused to sit with or even near him," says an eyewitness. "When she noticed he was there, she made a huge show of rubbing her presence in his face."

But Brown made sure she noticed him, too. After she settled into her spot in VIP, “He promptly ordered three more bottles of ace of spades which came out with in a procession of sparklers and scantily clad cocktail waitresses, causing a spectacle, which he clearly wanted Rihanna to see,” an eyewitness also tells the Daily Mail.
He caused just as much commotion when he left the club around 2:15 a.m. with one of the 20 friends he brought with him that night. As Brown got into his silver Lamborghini, a bystander heckled him, asking if his flashy car was “bulletproof.” Brown’s response was just as you would expect. He asked if the man on the street was “bulletproof” before peeling out.
The next day though he appeared to have calmed down and tweeted a Valentine’s message to the females in his life: “HAPPY VALENTINES DAY to all the beautiful women in the world. Our Queens..... Our mothers, sisters, and daughters.”
But not any girlfriends, it seems.
Rihanna’s 25th birthday is February 20 … will she be celebrating it with Chris?
