The Oscar winning actress is “around three months” pregnant according to E! News. This will be the second child for Cruz, 38, and Bardem, 43, who welcomed son Leo Encinas Bardem in January 2011. The New York Post’s Page Six was the first to break the happy news.
The actress is reportedly overjoyed times two because her sister, Monica Cruz, is also pregnant via artificial insemination.
Penelope attended the “Venuto al Mondo” premiere In Madrid, Spain on January 10, which was her most recent red carpet appearance. The actress wore a very loose black dress and coat, an ensemble that certainly would make it easy to conceal a growing baby bump.
Reps for the couple did not immediately respond to omg!’s request for comment.
The “Skyfall” actor and “To Rome With Love” actress wed in a very private ceremony in the Bahamas in July 2010.
