In one of the more shocking celebrity couplings, Tony Award-winning actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth, 44, has confirmed that she's dating former "Bachelor" Jake Pavelka, 34. The pilot is famous for competing on Canadian contestant Jillian Harris' season, then starring on his own season of "The Bachelor," where he chose Vienna Girardi (even though the women warned him not to do so) in 2010. Then, after Pavelka and Girardi broke up a year later — as most "Bachelor" couples inevitably do — they had an ugly encounter on a follow-up special. There were accusations both had sold each other out to the media, hysterical crying from Girardi, and some berating of Girardi on the part of Pavelka. Let's just say… viewers got to see a very different side of Jake, who was a seemingly sweet guy from Texas.

Perhaps Chenoweth missed all the Jake and Vienna drama? Or maybe she just doesn't care. According to the magazine, the two met in October, just before they were spotted together at restaurants in West Hollywood and near Dallas together on separate occasions, sparking rumors of romance. Chenoweth made their dating status official when she told People on Sunday, "We have been spending a little time together." She added that her recent head injury sustained on the set of "The Good Wife," when she was hit with a piece of lighting equipment, has changed her outlook on, well, everything. "I am doing so much better, but I think it slowed me down and I've realized life is short," she said. "I want to do things that make me happy."
Unfortunately, omg! users aren't thrilled about the new relationship. "There he goes again. Looking for another fifteen minutes of fame!" Flc23 wrote on an Us Weekly report about the couple.

Another commenter named Alyson also posted some harsh words: "But she's talented! And he's not! What I've seen of him is not encouraging, but she's adorable and has a fantastic voice. Hopefully she's just passing time."
Interestingly enough, Us Weekly adds that Chenoweth's past loves include at least one other surprising name: 32-year-old former "Prison Break" star-turned-prison inmate Lane Garrison.
