Kristen Stewart goes on a date – with her dad

Kristen Stewart may be back together with Robert Pattinson, but over the weekend she stepped out with another man: her father. The "Twilight" star brought her dad, John Stewart, to the Florence and the Machine concert in Los Angeles on Sunday night. The 22-year-old has long been a fan of the band — the Grammy-winning group recorded the song "Breath of Life" for Kristen's movie, "Snow White and the Huntsman."

Although she just returned from Paris where she attended Fashion Week, the 22-year-old was dressed way down for her night out. Kristen's outfit consisted of super-short shorts, a hooded sweatshirt, and red lipstick — ya know, the typical look you'd pull together if you were going somewhere with your dad. As they walked into the Hollywood Bowl, Kristen's father, who has long gray hair and a hippie sense of style, followed a few steps behind his famous daughter, who pulled up the hood of her sweatshirt to try to hide from the paparazzi.

Kristen, who grew up in the San Fernando Valley, comes from a showbiz family. John has worked as a producer and stage manager on various TV shows and specials. When Kristen appeared on the now-canceled "Lopez Tonight" in 2010, her father, who worked as the stage manager on the talk show, made a cameo. Kristen introduced the audience to "Papa Stew," and John sweetly told his daughter, "Kristen, you look beautiful." John is in the process of divorcing Kristen's mother, Hollywood script writer and director Jules Stewart, to whom he has been married for 27 years. According to the court papers, they separated in 2010.

Although Kristen's parents have gone their separate ways, they were both reportedly supportive of her following her cheating scandal with her married "Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders. When Kristen moved out of the home she shared with her long-time boyfriend Robert Pattinson, she moved in with her mother. A family insider told Us Weekly at the time that her parents felt Kristen "really embarrassed herself. … This is not the Kristen they know."

Kristen should definitely try to make the most of her downtime because she's going to be very busy in a few short weeks. "Breaking Dawn - Part 2" hits theaters in November and she has a whirlwind press tour ahead of her. She and Pattinson, who have reportedly patched things up, are scheduled to make several appearances together along with the rest of the "Twilight" cast in Los Angeles, England, and Spain, among other stops.
