The motorcycle mogul’s former fiancée, Kat Von D, has not only moved on to someone else, DJ and music producer Deadmau5 (pronounced “dead mouse,” for those not up on the world of electronic house music), but just showed the world how much she loves her new fiancé.
“I can't think of anyone who deserves this anymore than Joel,” Von D wrote on her Instagram page on Monday, where she posted a pic of her very happy main squeeze sitting inside a brand new Porsche 911 Carrera S accessorized with a bow. “#happybirthday #imsoscarednow.”

Sounds like the heavily inked 30-year-old has amassed quite a bit of savings from her reality show “LA Ink,” which ended in 2011, and her famous tattoo shop. The Carrera S starts at a whopping $96,400 (and reaches a top track speed of 188 miles per hour, perfect for swerving around L.A. rush-hour traffic). But if you look at the Instagram photo, there’s another big-ticket vehicle in the garage in the form of a new Bentley (which doesn’t even have license plates yet). Because the couple that drives fast together stays together!

Speaking of staying together, while Von D and Zimmerman should still be in the honeymoon phase, considering they only got together in September, it seems there was trouble in paradise right away. Back on November 10, the two announced their relationship was kaput. Von D, of course, kept everyone all up to date via Twitter with multiple posts that day, which had many guessing her 31-year-old beau had cheated on her. “Man, I sure was wrong. But at least he made it a no-brainer to break that off. #lessonlearned,” one tweet read. “Now, we can get all of the ‘I told you so’s’ outta the way … And move on,” went another. And finally: “Clarification: Deadmau5 and I are no longer together.”
Zimmerman took to Twitter as well the same day to take the blame: “It happened too fast, i lost my balance and fell into a familiar dark place that im having difficulty with. She deserves someone stronger,” he wrote.

But, thankfully, the breakup was only temporary and on December 17, the couple announced their engagement via ... you guessed it! Twitter!
So why drop $100,000 on a car for a guy who clearly did something bad enough to make her break up with him? Well, Kat Von D seems to be the type who follows her heart a little too quickly. This is the same woman who had ex Jesse James’ face tattooed on her ribcage after being with the admitted cheater for less than a year. ”Years down the road when we're all old and wrinkly we'll be able to look at that tattoo and remember that time I surprised him,” she said at the time on her reality show, which filmed the procedure.
A short time later she discovered James was cheating on her. Come to think of it, it sticking with Porsches over permanent tattoos probably seems like a good idea from now on.
