Noisettes singer Shingai Shoniwa Yahoo! Music You may know the Noisettes from their single "Don't Upset the Rhythm (Go Baby Go)" or perhaps you saw them opening shows for Bloc Party, TV on the Radio, and others. But even if you've never heard them before, there's bound to be something familiar-sounding about the performance we've got for you here!
The London-based indie rockers recently stopped by the Yahoo! Music studios in Santa Monica, California, to cover the Killers hit "When You Were Young" as part of the Pepsi Music "Cover Art" series.
We think you'll agree singer Shingai Shoniwa's haunting vocals, the subdued strumming of her band mates, and the three-piece string section all add up to give the track a fresh new feel. The Killers have a new track called "A White Demon Love Song" on the "New Moon" soundtrack, but thanks to this Noisettes cover, we're feeling nostalgic for the Las Vegas rockers' older material.
