‘Bachelorette’ Trista Sutter reveals her post-plastic surgery bikini body

Most celebrities like to keep quiet when they've had work done on their appearance. But former "Bachelorette" Trista Sutter, who went on to marry Ryan Sutter, the man she chose on the show in 2003, isn't afraid to talk about her plastic surgery. Just three months before her 40th birthday, the mother of two reveals to Life & Style that she recently underwent what's called a blepharoplasty to lift her eyelids and remove the bags under her eyes, and a breast augmentation and lift that increased her cup size from a small B cup to a full C cup. "After nursing both my kids for a year each, my boobs were deflated," Sutter, who's mom to 5-year-old son Max and 3-year-old daughter Blakesley, explains to the magazine. "And I had a droopy eye. It was something that I noticed in every picture I've ever taken."

Sutter, a former professional cheerleader for the Miami Heat, and her hubby still regularly find themselves in the spotlight. Since their televised whirlwind courtship and wedding, they're often trotted out for the ABC cameras as proof that the concept of "The Bachelor" and its spin-offs can really work. After all, they're among only a handful of couples from "The Bachelor" franchise that have stayed together. And it sounds like part of the reason Sutter wanted to go under the knife was to keep that loving feeling going with her guy! "I realized that the surgery was something I had to do for myself, just for my own self-confidence and to feel good again about being in bathing suits and being intimate with my husband," she says. "He wanted me to be happy, so he said, 'Whatever you need to do to make yourself happy, go for it.'" So what does Trista think of the results? "I wanted to feel pretty again — and I do!"

When they're not making "Bachelor" related appearances, the Sutters live in Vail, Colorado, with their little ones. He's a firefighter, and she designs children's clothes for Vintage Couture. The post-surgery Sutter is also writing a book, Happily Ever After: The Life Changing Power of a Grateful Heart, featuring tips on marriage and family. The book is set to hit shelves in fall 2013 — just in time for Trista and Ryan's 10th anniversary.
