And the drama continues! Two days after Kim Kardashian filed for divorce after only 72 days of marriage to NBA hoopster Kris Humphries, Kim's momager Kris Jenner made an appearance on "Today" to defend her daughter's decision. Technically, the interview was to promote another Kardashian endeavor, Kris' new book Kris Jenner ... and All Things Kardashian, but, as you can guess, that was kinda sorta overshadowed by the big news of the split, which Kris was more than happy to discuss.

Kim lost money on her nuptials. According to Kris, the Kardashian clan was paid as normal for their roles in the wedding special, and they didn't offer to sell it to the highest-bidding network. Then, the money from the wedding pics -- described as less than $1 million and more than $500,000 -- went back into the event, which ended up leaving Kim in the red. Um, I really hope she enjoyed her special day!
The wedding wasn't just for TV. While plenty of people are asking if we've all been had by the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star, Kris flatly denies that's the case. "[It] certainly wasn't a sham. [It] certainly wasn't something for TV," Kris insists. "We have enough going on, you know, on our show that we don't have to make things up. I mean she really felt like she was in love with him and you know, it was an amazing time. ... It saddens all of us, it saddens me to think that one of the rumors is that we sold the television rights for millions of dollars, not true."
Kris doesn't regret the family's decision to televise their lives. While you might think that such an embarrassing mistake -- if it was, in fact, just a mistake as Kris described -- would make the family rethink life on the airwaves ... you'd be wrong! "You know what? I don't have any regrets, because this is what we do" Kris explains. "We have people that have sort of invested in our lives from day one, season one, and we enjoy what we do. I feel so blessed and grateful for the TV show."
