Sylvester Stallone and family mend broken heart over son Sage’s death with vacation in France

Sylvester Stallone and his family are picking up the pieces just weeks after his eldest son, Sage, was found dead in his Los Angeles home of an apparent overdose. The "Expendables 2" star took his wife of 15 years, former model Jennifer Flavin, and their three daughters on a yacht, which toured the Mediterranean for days before it moored in France on Tuesday. Once it came to rest, the family seemed to find some solace in the sun, although the patriarch remained with a grim expression on his face.

The tattooed and muscular Stallone, 66, was seen relaxing on the deck of the ship with his gorgeous brood, which includes Sophia, 15, Sistine, 14, and Scarlet, 10. Afterward, they all hopped on Jet Skis for a spin in the crystal blue waters, but overprotective Dad, who never cracked a smile despite the fun, had his youngest ride with him. Later, they family of five headed to dry land as a united front. Stallone, 43-year-old Flavin, and little Scarlet all walked arm in arm, with Sophia and Sistine close by as they strolled into a nearby hotel lobby.

It's been an emotional past few weeks for the Stallone family since 36-year-old Sage's body was found on July 13. Although pill bottles were reportedly found strewn all over his cluttered and filthy room, the L.A. Coroner's office has yet to rule on what exactly killed him. Toxicology results aren't expected until the end of this month, not long after "Expendables 2" hits theaters.
