Madonna Skis Up a Storm in Switzerland
Madonna may be best known as the Material Girl, but she's become quite the outdoor woman in recent months. Over the summer, she was spotted jet skiing and paddle boarding in France, and on Tuesday, she proved she was just as well versed in cold-weather sports when she hit the slopes in perfectly picturesque Gstaad, Switzerland. She and her family were visiting the exclusive ski resort town as guests of Italian fashion designer Valentino.
Three of Madonna's four kids joined in the snowy fun, including eldest daughter Lourdes, 15, who donned an all-black ensemble just like her mom and showed off her snowboarding skills; and Madonna's younger adopted kids, 5-year-old Mercy and 6-year-old David, who looked like they were taking to the Swiss slopes rather well during their lesson with a private instructor.
There's more fun in store for Madonna's brood soon enough. The "Vogue" songstress will perform during next month's Super Bowl XLVI halftime show in Indianapolis. Will you be watching her performance? The only family member missing was 11-year-old Rocco, Madonna's 11-year-old with ex-husband Guy Ritchie. Maybe he was off spending time with his new 4-month-old baby brother -- Guy's son with model girlfriend Jacqui Ainsley.
