(Paul Morigi/WireImage)Six months after he was arrested for DUI while parked in front of a church, country singer Randy Travis was once again popped for the same offense — except this time, he was naked. Police in Texas responded to a 911 call about a man lying in a roadway and found the 53-year-old completely nude, apparently drunk, and injured after he crashed his 1998 Pontiac Trans Am into a construction barrier. According to TMZ, Travis refused a Breathalyzer test, so blood was drawn at the scene to determine his blood-alcohol level. For his mug shot — which showed his black eye, cuts, and scrapes sustained in the single-car crash — cops were nice enough to give the "I Told You So" singer a black T-shirt to wear, as well as paper pants to cover his nether regions.
In addition to DWI, Travis will also be charged with retaliation and making threats after he reportedly said he wanted to shoot and kill the officers who arrested him while being transported to the Grayson County jail. TMZ adds that he did post his $21,500 bail this morning and was released.
It certainly hasn't been a good year for Travis. In February, he was arrested for DUI after police found him drunk and parked in front of a Baptist church in Sanger, Texas, clutching a bottle of wine, following a fight with his girlfriend. Then in May, he filed a lawsuit against his ex-wife and former manager, Elizabeth Travis, accusing her of trying to ruin his career by disclosing his personal business to others. She responded by asking a judge to toss the case, but no ruling has come down yet.
