(Instagram/Bobby Brown Jr)During a brief break in the New Edition tour schedule, Bobby Brown married his long-time love Alicia Etheredge in Honolulu on Monday. And while it was a family affair, his daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown was not in attendance.
The 43-year-old R&B singer, who became engaged to Etheredge in 2010, said "I do" in front of friends and family, including his older children Landon, 23, La'Princia, 22, and Bobby Jr., 19, and his young son with Etheredge: Cassius, 3. Bobbi Kristina, the daughter from his marriage to the late Whitney Houston, was noticeably absent. According to reports, she's filming her upcoming reality TV series in New York and opted not to attend. They are not on good terms right now, a source told People.

Despite Bobbi Kristina's absence, the festivities were in full swing. Bobby had on a red suit and a cream colored shirt for the wedding as well as Adidas sneakers. Cassius, who was the ring bearer, had on a similar outfit but had a scarf around his neck. Bobby Jr. snapped many photos of the wedding party, which included four flower girls, and the reception, which featured flame-throwing dancers, and posted them on Instagram.

Prior to their 2010 engagement (Bobby famously popped the question during one of his concerts), the couple dated for three years and welcomed Cassius in 2009. His relationship with Etheredge, who is also his manager, was his first long-term relationship following his divorce from Houston in 2007.

"I've known Alicia for years," Bobby told Complex in May. "We met so long ago, when she was working at a dance class. She was part of a dance crew. And we just all hung out at this dance studio in L.A. We met through that. We lost connection once I got married and all of that. But once I got divorced I saw her again and it just clicked … She's just a brilliant lady. I love her dearly. My love for her goes beyond the love I feel for anybody."
Brown also talked about their plans to expand their family. "Oh definitely," he said about having more children. "I mean I come from a family of 8, so that's all I know."
