Paris rocks out in Gary, Indiana. (Splash News)The late King of Pop's children are spending the rest of the week celebrating what would have been their dad's 54th birthday, on August 29, in his hometown of Gary, Indiana. Prince, 15, Paris, 14, and Blanket, 10, are visiting the city of approximately 80,000 for what's become an annual festival near the two-bedroom home Michael lived in until he became a star at age 11. The Jackson offspring reportedly traveled to the Midwest with their grandmother and co-guardian Katherine Jackson, cousin and co-guardian T.J. Jackson, and aunt La Toya Jackson to take part in four days of festivities, which kicked off on Wednesday, called "Goin' Back to Indiana: Can You Feel It." The events include a candlelight vigil, a formal dinner in honor of Katherine on Friday night, and a tribute concert Saturday night hosted by Paris herself, along with, oddly enough, "Extra" host Mario Lopez. In addition to be presented with "I love Gary" T-shirts, MJ's kids are set to throw out the first pitch at a local baseball game.Read More »from Michael Jackson’s kids celebrate the late singer’s 54th birthday in his hometown of Gary, Indiana

"LeAnn has voluntarily entered a 30-day inpatient treatment facility to cope with anxiety and stress," her rep told People. "While there will be speculation regarding her treatment, she is simply there to learn and develop coping mechanisms. While privacy isn't expected, it's certainly appreciated."Read More »from LeAnn Rimes enters inpatient treatment facility for emotional issues

Swift. (Paul Kane/Getty Images)Of course, Taylor Swift is singing about love and heartbreak on her upcoming fourth album, Red, but this time she's tweaking her winning formula just a bit. Her new direction is evident on the first single, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," which is a departure from her country-pop sound with a somewhat hip-hop-inspired beat. And the risk is paying off: the track sold a record-breaking 623,000 digital downloads in its first week alone.Read More »from Taylor Swift goes ‘to some really dark places’ on new album

Christina Aguilera shoots her new music video. (Splash News)It's unclear exactly what the plotline of Christina Aguilera's upcoming video for her tune "Your Body" is at this point, but here's a guess: A stripper is at home trying on rainbow-colored wigs when she gets a call to participate in a last-minute softball game. She quickly grabs her bat, throws on some neon-pink stiletto pumps and heads for the ball field, making sure to not to get distracted by the beer sale going on at a local liquor store on her way.
We'll find out what the actual scenario is when the video debuts, but in the meantime, just studying the photo of the 31-year-old pop singer in this outrageous getup is entertaining enough. And the longer you look, the more wild things you notice, like her multiple metal rings, her bright pink lipstick, that stark white manicure, lengthy false eyelashes, and, well, plenty of skin in a mesh-laden dress that looks like it's literally bursting at the seams.Read More »from Christina Aguilera dons wild getup for music video
Usher and Foster. (Rick Diamond/WireImage)One of the most bitter celebrity custody battles has finally come to an end. After months of nasty accusations on both sides, the all-out war between Usher and his ex-wife Tameka Foster is finally over — and the ruling is somewhat surprising. The "Scream" singer was awarded primary custody of sons Usher Raymond V, 4, and Naviyd, 3, by a judge in Georgia on Friday, despite the fact that Foster testified that Usher often chose his career over his children and that he did drugs in front of them.Read More »from Usher wins custody battle against ex-wife

LL Cool J (Getty Images)Burglars take note: It's not a good idea to break into the home of someone who wrote the song "Mama Said Knock You Out."
Early Wednesday morning, LL Cool J busted a burglary suspect who had broken into his Los Angeles home. The actor-rapper, whose real name is James Todd Smith, discovered the man just before 1 a.m., when the alarm system in his Studio City residence was tripped. A scuffle ensued, but the "NCIS: Los Angeles" star — whose arms (and abs!) are legendary in Hollywood — took down the trespasser and detained him while one of his daughters called 911.Read More »from LL Cool J comes out on top during scuffle with home invader
