After much speculation that Britney Spears would likely not be able to handle the pressure of being a judge on "The X Factor," the pop star reportedly walked off the set during auditions in Austin, Texas, today — the first day of filming! According to TMZ, Spears got up and left after a contestant butchered her 2011 hit song, "Hold It Against Me." But the show went on. Four more singing hopefuls auditioned in front of Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid, and Demi Lovato, and Spears' empty seat (as seen in a photo on the site), until the show took a recess.

On Wednesday, while the "Climax" singer was on the stand for the second day in a row, he was accused of sleeping with one of Tameka Foster's bridesmaids during their two-year marriage. Usher was being cross-examined about his complaint that his ex brings nannies he doesn't know in and out of the lives of their two young sons, Usher V, 4, and Naviyd, 3, when Foster's lawyer discounted his claim, saying that one of the nannies in question had worked for him during a trip to Miami. Usher, appearing confused, responded, "I don't know what you're talking about. What are you referring to?" So the lawyer reminded him. "When Ms. Williams [the nanny] left Miami because you were discovered in bed with Maya Fox-Davis … do you remember that?"

The R&B singer, whose full name is Usher Raymond, has been facing off against his ex in an Atlanta court to figure out the optimal living situation for their boys, Usher Raymond V, 4, and 3-year-old Naviyd Ely Raymond. Foster, who was married to Usher from 2007 to 2009, wants full physical custody of their kids while Usher wants visitation rights. And there's clearly no love lost between the exes because, during the trial, the accusations have been flying!

After accepting the Millennium Award on her mother's behalf onstage Sunday night, 19-year-old Brown hit the MGM Grand's slot machines — a big no-no since she's underage. After video footage of Brown and her adopted brother-turned-boyfriend Nick Gordon, 22, showed up on TMZ on Monday, both the hotel and the Nevada Gaming Commission have launched investigations. If it's proven that the teen broke the law, she faces up to six months in county jail or a $1,000 fine.

And on Saturday night, the "LA Ink" star got to be one when she performed at An Evening With Women, which benefited the Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Center. Von D played keyboard and sang "Small Town Boy" by '80s synth-pop trio Bronski Beat, accompanied by former Limp Bizkit member Wes Borland on bass and Danny Lohner, who has worked with Nine Inch Nails and Marilyn Manson, on guitar. Although she kept her head down the entire time, the husky-voiced tattoo artist was pretty impressive for her first time in front of a live audience.

Mayer in NYC (Jeffrey Ufberg/WireImage)John Mayer apparently regrets kissing and telling. Two years after he famously spilled TMI about his famous ex-girlfriends Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Aniston in two separate magazine interviews, he now wishes he didn't have those loose lips moments.

"I had nothing to say," Mayer, 34, explained during a new interview with NPR's "All Things Considered" over the weekend. "I was going through a time in my life where I didn't really want to share what was going on, but I didn't want to be boring."
