Models and rock stars go together like limos and champagne, until, of course, they break up. And they so often do. The latest duo to bite the dust? Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine and his Russian-born girlfriend of two years, Anne Vyalitsyna.

The musician was introduced to Vyalitsyna at the Las Vegas release party for the 2010 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition, the sixth issue to feature the stunner, where he two hit it off and began dating. Levine, 33, has gotten an extra boost of fame over the last year as a coach on the NBC reality singing competition series "The Voice." But who is Vyalitsyana? Better known as Anne V, the 26-year-old was minding her own business on the streets of St. Petersburg a decade ago when a scout asked her to appear on MTV's "Fashionably Loud Europe," after which she ended up with a modeling contract.

The beauty has most recently been working as a Victoria's Secret lingerie model and the couple seemed happy as could be when, during the televised Victoria's Secret Fashion show last fall, the two couldn't keep their hands off each other on the catwalk as he sang his hit "Moves Like Jagger" and she sashayed down the runway in jewel-encrusted underwear. Around the same time the ridiculously attractive couple continued to make the rest of us feel awful about skipping the gym by posing nude together on the cover of Russian Vogue.

But those days are officially over. "Adam and I have decided to separate in an amicable and supportive manner. We still love and respect each other as friends. I wish him all the best," Vyalitsyana said in a statement.

Well, at least we've still got David Bowie and Iman.
